Alive and Kicking had provided all the balls for Peacemakers in 2006 when a team of youngsters from the UK, led by a National Physical Education tutor, spent one week coaching Kenyan Teachers and a second week had the Kenyans putting their new skills into practice. 600 footballs were bought for this and at the end of the week four footballs were given out to each participating school.
The 2008 Harrison Cup was brought to a conclusion on Thursday 5th June with Turners defeating 100 Spartans in a wholly second-half match! Chris Chalat opened the scoring on the hour before Matt Arlick confirmed the Golden Boot award with his 5th and 6th goals of the tournament.

The photograph shows Captains Martin Barrett (left; Turners) and Alan Kenney (right; 100 Spartans) with the footballs and several other photographs of the footballs in use.

The players were very impressed with the quality of the footballs and we are hoping that orders will be forthcoming as a result.
