Cow placed August 2004, died in pregnancy at 8 months in 2004. Slaughtered meat sold to buy young heifer, Kelly.

Wendy

Wendy placed August 2004 with Wikio Women’s Group. Visited 7 April 2005, carer in hospital, cow poorly, needs better nutrition, left money for feed. Visited August 2006, decision made to transfer Wendy to a Youth Group run by Jacob Kimyua because of lack of care by the Women’s Group

Karmi Died through drought. A further cow, named Maua was placed in 2005. She has calved 3 times and produced 2 bulls and a heifer. 2 calves died from Red Water disease, but Maua was expecting again in 2007.
